In this rare Oscar-winning comedy, a British divorcee (Jackson) and a married American insurance executive (Segal) enter into an adulterous affair, despite their questionable compatibility.
After renting a flat to conduct their romance, he finds that alongside a marriage, children and a career, their relationship becomes difficult to keep up with.
