Ignoring warnings of forest fires, Leon and his friend Felix travel to a holiday cottage by the Baltic Sea to work in peace, but discover that couple Nadja and Devid are already there.


For Felix, an outgoing photographer this poses no issue, but it does for agonisingly serious writer Leon. Quickly developing an unreciprocated crush on Nadja and fearing an imminent visit from his angry publisher, Leon grows more morose; but the holiday-goers remain seemingly oblivious to the flames beginning to surround the cottage.
