Book Film Book Club: Under the Skin 15

In collaboration with Phoenix, Got Enough Books presents “The Book Film Book Club”, a new bi-monthly screening featuring exceptional adaptations from across the gamut of literature with a written think piece to accompany each film.

We start with Under the Skin, Jonathan Glazer’s (The Zone of Interest) eerie and affecting adaptation of Michael Faber’s debut novel following an alien (Johannson) as she stalks her prey, picking up men as she drives around Scotland. A gripping, moving, and unsettling horror that stands apart from and co-mingles with Faber’s thrilling sci-fi novel.

Whether you’re someone who thinks the book is always better than the film, or a person who enjoys a great adaptation, there’s no requirement to read the book to enjoy these screenings.
