Join us for the launch of our new exhibition, Fragment Ecologies, a solo show by internationally acclaimed American artist Everest Pipkin, following their online commission The Barnacle Goose Experiment last October.

Everest's work focuses on the topics of ecology, play, and the exploration of networked Internet spaces and their many component parts. They make games, tools, and interactive works for the browser.

The various works in this show consider the edges and borders of utopian thinking in games and gardens.

Visitors will be presented with a combination of traditional drawings, projections of moving image work, and a branching narrative poem within our secondary gallery space.

In our primary gallery, there will be an accessible tabletop game and reading area, where you can play with your friends or browse by yourself, and we will have copies of these games in our gift shop for you to purchase and play at home.

Digital games will be installed in custom sculptural arcade cabinets on the gallery floor, and will be available to play during gallery hours. With works such as Mirror Lake, bodies.html and Drift Mine Satellite, visitors will be able to explore the small and delicate game worlds that Everest creates.
