Raimi’s semi-remake, semi-sequel builds on (and dare we say betters?) his original film The Evil Dead.
Bruce Campbell again stars as Ash Williams, vacationing in a remote cabin with his girlfriend. Little do they realise that the cabin’s previous inhabitant was experimenting with the Necronomicon – The Book of the Dead - and evil forces now lurk in the woods! It’s up to Ash, his shotgun, and his handy chainsaw to send these deadites back to hell. Grrroooovy.
