The remarkable true story of Hilde Coppi, a communist and resistance fighter who joined the anti-fascist group The Red Orchestra during the Nazi regime. Meeting and falling in love with fellow activist Hans, over the course of a summer the couple share a once-in-a-lifetime romance while risking everything for the cause. But when she is captured by the gestapo, Hilde’s love only deepens her resolve to resist, no matter the cost.
