Hackers – 30th Anniversary 12A

Screening to mark its 30th anniversary,  Iain Softley’s hugely enjoyable tech thriller is the distilled essence of pure 1990s, starring Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie as teenage hackers “Zero Cool” and “Acid Burns”.

Despite being banned from using computers until they turn 18, Zero and Acid are part of a school hacking group, but soon their youthful hijinks sees them framed for industrial espionage by nefarious hacker Eugene "The Plague" Belford.
