Initially denied a release in India, Alankrita Shrivastava’s drama was a hit at UKAFFL in 2017 and returns by popular demand.


The film explores the secret lives of four women from the same neighbourhood in Bhopal who are all in search of freedom.


Contending with a patriarchal society where money, clothes and sex are all used as a weapon of repression, Shrivastava reveals the small acts of courage the women take to claim their desires.
