Join us for an in-person talk by pioneering computer artist Marcus West where he will discuss his algorithmic artwork created over a 40-year period. This includes work produced on early pen plotters and on-screen using the popular Processing language.

Marcus will also share his experiences working with the EMS Synthi 100 synthesiser in the 1970s. There will be an opportunity to hear original music created at the time and never before played in public.

The talk coincides with an exhibition of Marcus’s work in our Café Bar.

The event will be hosted by Dr Sean Clark from the Computer Arts Archive.
