Curmudgeonly businessman Ebenezer Scrooge (Alastair Sim) has no time for the whimsy and sentimentality of Christmas. But Scrooge’s ways are forever changed when on Christmas Eve he is visited by three spirits - the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

Brian Desmond Hurst directs a formidable British cast in one of the best adaptations of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, including Alastair Sim (The Belles of St. Trinian’s), Jack Warner, Kathleen Harrison and George Cole (Minder).
