Damien John Kelly House (DJK House) opened in 2019 to strong opposition. However, within a short space of time, the recovery living centre changed the hearts and minds of the local community.

This compassionate documentary follows the inhabitants of DJK House, a group of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts who acted in Three Bull-Mastiffs in a Corner Kitchen, a film about addiction.

Determined to rehabilitate its residents, DJK House introduce art, sport and culture back into their lives.

This screening is supported by Dear Albert and includes the launch of Leicester's Recovery Community Steering Group.

Screening as part of REAL Documentary Festival.
