From the director of The Favourite and The Lobster comes another deliciously twisted black comedy, based on the 1992 novel of the same name and inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

Emma Stone is on brilliant form as Bella Baxter, a Victorian woman who is resurrected by a scientist. Dismayed to find polite society puts strict limitations on women’s behaviour, Bella set off with a debauched lawyer (Mark Ruffalo, having the time of his life) on a hedonistic journey to experience anything and anyone she wants.

Bawdy, filthy, and very funny.

Now nominated for 11 BAFTAs and 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actress.
