Duration: 90 mins

Certificate: 18

Film, more than anything else, aims to make us feel. And in a world ever more divided and confusing, one of the most extraordinary gifts it has to offer is in stories of resilience, examples of hope and defiance against the odds – the many ways in which the human race kicks back against the darkness.

The six films in our resilience strand come from around the world—including new work from France, Ukraine, and Lebanon—but they have one thing in common: Wherever there is something to survive, there are those fighting to do so.
