25-year-old Freddie decides to visit South Korea, the country she was born in before being adopted and raised in France.
Seemingly there on a whim – she doesn’t speak the language nor participate in local customs – she decides to try to find her biological parents, a decision which will lead her to new and unexpected places.
In her first film Park Ji Min gives an extraordinary lead performance as Freddie, her inner struggle between reconciliation and resentment barely held beneath the surface.
