"★★★★★ – deep-dive study takes down the Nazis’ favourite director" – Guardian

★★★★ – The Times

One of the most controversial women of the 20th century, Leni Riefenstahl was the preeminent filmmaker of the Third Reich, with her Nazi propaganda works Triumph of the Will and Olympia personally commissioned by Hitler and Goebbels.

This new documentary uses private films, photos, recordings and letters from Riefenstahl's estate to trace the continued influence of her work today, and examines her life after the fall of Nazism where she remained unapologetic and tried to shape and manage her legacy.
