Romeo + Juliet – 30th Anniversary 12A

A dazzling reinterpretation of Shakespeare's most famous tragedy, Luhrmann relocates the action to Verona Beach in California, a world of guns and drugs and the backdrop for a long-running feud between two families. When Romeo (Di Caprio), a Montague, attends a Capulet ball in disguise, he falls in love with the beautiful Juliet (Danes). Although belonging to opposing households, these star-crossed lovers are determined to be together and make plans to marry.
