Quentin Dupiex’s (Rubber, Reality) absolutely bonkers superhero pastiche centres around misfit group “Tobacco Force” (who are actually anti-smoking, despite their various chemical names).
We meet them at the side of the road, battling a giant rubber tortoise. Lead by a talking puppet rat over video calls, the group are sent to a retreat to work on their group cohesion, and what follows is a glorious bucket load of B-movie effects and laugh out loud absurdity.
