"★★★★★ – One of the great American comedy films" – BBC

★★★★★ – Eye For Film

John Landis' 1980's cult classic-musical-comedy-buddy-road-movie extraordinaire, featuring tunes you won't be able to stop singing, moves a plenty and the most important message cinema can bring – "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love"!

Born out of a Saturday Night Live sketch, The Blues Brothers follows the story of Jakes Blues and his brother Elwood.

Upon his release from prison, Jake is picked up by Elwood in his Bluesmobile, a former police car that can perform surprising feats for it's battered appearance.

They pay a visit to the Catholic orphanage they were brought up in, and much to their dismay find it is on the brink of closure. Determined not to let that happen, the brothers decide to re-form their blues band - cannily named 'The Blues Brothers', to raise some money and save the church.

Featuring iconic cameos and musical numbers from blues & soul legends including: James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, John Lee Hoooker and more!
