Fyzal Boulifa’s (Lynn + Lucy) powerful sophomore feature follows teenager Selim (El Hajjouji) and his mum Fatima-Zahra (Tebbae) as they adopt a near-nomadic lifestyle, constantly running away from the scandals she finds herself caught up in.
As Selim verges on adulthood, he resolves to get a job so that they might not have to run any more. He finds himself following more closely in his mother’s footsteps than he had hoped, and finds out an agonising truth she had kept from him.
