Raised by Jewish Communists, left-wing activist Pierre Goldman turned to robbery in the late 1960s following time spent with the guerrilla movement in Venezuela.

Accused of two murders (which he denied) and several armed robberies (some of which he admitted), his trial gripped and divided France.

This thrilling new film immerses us in the court case, as the intelligent and mercurial Goldman throws his own trial into chaos, challenging a society torn apart by racism and injustice.
