On a remote Scottish island, siblings Isla and Sandy have grown up isolated from modern society. After the disappearance of their parents 30 years ago, they’ve forged their own strange mythologies, customs and habits, believing themselves descended from the squawking gulls that share their isle. When local councillor Daniel (Gleeson) is sent to evict them from their home, he soon learns they don’t care for outsiders. A strange and hilariously daft British comedy swept up in Celtic folklore.
