Screening to mark De Montfort University’s recent acquisition of the extensive archive of film producer Michael Klinger, we present a double bill of The Man Who Got Carter – a documentary looking at Michael’s sensational film career directed by his son Tony Klinger, followed by a screening of one of Michael’s most successful films as producer – the brilliant 1971 thriller Get Carter.
Tony Klinger joins us for a Q&A between the two films, hosted by DMU film historian Prof Steve Chibnall.
