Released from prison after serving three years for a hate crime, neo-nazi Derek (Norton) returns home to find his little brother Danny (Furlong)  following in his footsteps. Having vowed to change his ways, Derek tries to change his brother's mind.

In a community defined by violence and hate, Derek severs his ties with the white supremacist gang he once led, whilst battling his deeply ingrained prejudices and watching his mother get sicker and sicker.
