Set against the breathtaking yet turbulent backdrop of Gurez, a remote village on the India-Pakistan border, We Are Faheem and Karun is a tender and courageous tale of forbidden love that premiered at BFI Flare.
Karun, a young security officer from southern India, is posted to this borderland outpost, where he encounters Faheem – a local Kashmiri man whose quiet charm begins to thaw Karun’s guarded heart.
