Noah Baumbach’s (Marriage Story, Frances Ha) black comedy blends the mundane with the marvellous in a postmodern pondering of life, love and the universe, based on Don DeLillo’s 1985 novel.
Adam Driver stars as Jack Gladney, a college professor of Hitler Studies (despite not speaking a word of German!), with Greta Gerwig alongside as his loving wife.
When a train accident spews chemical waste over their town and causes the ‘Airborne Toxic Event’, they are faced with their biggest fear: their own mortality.
