ESRC Festival of Social Science
The ESRC Festival of Social Science is an annual, UK-wide, free celebration of the social sciences, which this year runs from Saturday 18 October until Saturday 8 November.
As part of the festival, we’re partnership with the University of Leicester for a short season of free screenings in that invite discussion, reflection and learning on the latest research. We begin with The Babadook, presented by the School of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy on ‘The Horror of Childhood’, followed by a series films on the theme of ‘Super-diversity’ with the university’s Migration, Mobility and Citizenship Network.
