I’ve Donated – What Happens Next?

We really appreciate your generosity and support for our Phoenix 2020 plan.

Now you’ve donated, here’s what you can expect:

Up on the Big Screen

• Your name will be added to a list of all our fantastic donors, to be shown on our cinema screens shortly before every film – in our existing cinemas for 6 months, and our two new ones for 3 months. It may take up to 2 weeks for new names to appear.
• We’ll also add you name to our supporters list online at phoenix.org.uk/supporters
• And, if you agreed, we’ll give you a shout-out on Facebook and Twitter, tagging you if you gave us your @name.

Name on the Door

• When our new extension is completed around Summer 2021, your name will be presented on our new glass front doors. It will form part of a display that includes the names of all those who donated at this level, clearly readable – so everyone entering can see who made the new building possible.
• You will also receive the same benefits as our ‘Up on the Big Screen’ donors including your name on our cinema supporters slide before every film, online and on social media if selected.
• You will be able to collect your signed certificate from box office within two weeks from the date you made your donation, and no later than 3 months.

Take a Seat

• When the new extension is complete – currently scheduled for Summer 2021 – your message will be inscribed on a plaque and attached to one of the seats in our two new cinema auditoria. We will choose a seat location which matches your stated preference. Please note that your donation will not enable you to reserve or be entitled to sit in the seat with your plaque.

• You will receive the same benefits as our ‘Up on the Big Screen’ donors including your name on our cinema supporters slide before every film, online and on social media if selected.
• You will be able to collect your signed certificate from box office within two weeks from the date you made your donation, and no later than 3 months.
• We may send you an email prior to the installation of your plaque to confirm wording layout, and seating position.

Your Cinema

• We will contact you within two weeks of your donation to discuss your recognition in our new building extension, as well as in our brochure and on our website.
• We will invite you to meet our Chief Executive Officer and a Trustee from our board of directors.
• You will receive the same benefits as our ‘Up on the Big Screen’ donors including your name on our cinema supporters slide before every film, online and on social media if selected.
• You will be able to collect your signed certificate from box office within two weeks from the date you made your donation, and no later than 3 months.

A few other things

• We will keep you informed about our Phoenix 2020 progress in our regular e-newsletter.
• If you have questions about your donation, please email [email protected], or talk to our staff at box office. Please note, however, that this fundraising programme has been designed to be relatively simple for our staff to manage multiple donations. This means we will be limited in our ability to discuss over email the details of individual donations.
