Place and Memory audio-description

We’re pleased to say that audio-description will soon be available for our upcoming exhibition Place and Memory.

Place and Memory explores the heritage and legacy of Phoenix. Coinciding with our 60th birthday, the exhibition features interactive digital works by emerging artists Adam Stephenson and Martin Cibik, who have been mentored by Sean Clark as part of REAL Initiative.

The digital works incorporate archival materials which have been donated by members of the public or uncovered by our digital arts team, and help to tell the story of Phoenix’s rich cultural history since it was founded in 1963.

This exhibition is part-funded by Phoenix, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Midlands Engine and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
