A father (Martin Sheen) travels to northern Spain to retrieve the body of his estranged son Daniel who died while walking the Camino de Santiago.


Once there, he decides to walk the pilgrims’ way himself, carrying his son’s ashes. ,Buoyed by Daniel’s spirit and the company of other pilgrims, his epic journey becomes spiritual and redemptive.
